Spring Day

Cobhall Rough
A walk of about two miles, led by Barbara Davis. The walk starts at the Hall and visits the site, in Cobhall Rough, of the confrontation between Robert Frost and a gamekeeper.

 

Lunch time


The Hall will be open for lunch for those who bring their own food. Hot drinks will be available. Lunch alternatives include the Redmarley Rose and Crown on the A4147 and The Swan at Staunton.

During the evening there will be a ceremonial handover of the portraits recently purchased by the FDP.

There is no charge for this walk but donations to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust would be welcomed.


Golden Triangle Walk

A guided walk of four to five miles by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust within the Golden Triangle incorporating Ketford Bank and Vell Mill Daffodil meadow, retracing the steps of the Dymock Poets.
